Megan Fox has not had a very good time as of late – first she was dropped as the female lead in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, then she was accused of using Botox and now she has been replaced by Rihanna as the face of Emporio Armani.

This is not unusual for the Armani brand as it commonly replaces its spokespersons after a period of one or two years. Additionally, Megan Fox continues to represent the fragrance and beauty products for the Armani brand. However, one cannot deny that the timing is not great for Ms Fox.

Rihanna will now be the model for Emporio Armani ad campaigns and will represent their underwear and jeans lines. Although Rihanna has already participated in a photo shoot for the Fall/Winter campaign for 2011, Megan Fox still shows up on the official website for Armani Jeans.

Armani jeans definitely fall into the premium category and are available for women as well as men.  Most of Armani’s denim offerings cost upwards of a $100 but are considered extremely stylish. We are sure everyone would be curious to see how Rihanna merges her fun and vibrant personality with Armani’s more reserved and elite branding.
