The brains behind Citizens of Humanity, Jerome Dahan and his partner, are expanding the executive board behind the brand. The company added Amy Williams on November 30th. She will be working with the duo on nearly every aspect in order to grow both Citizens of Humanity and Gold Sign Brands.
Williams has an extensive retail background, getting her start at Macy’s and eventually working for the Gap and finally running the retail section of Lucky Jeans. She also runs a children apparel company with her husband.
Amy Williams says that her first priority with the brand will be to ensure that “We’re telling the clearest merchandising story in a way the customer can understand.”
Her vision doesn’t stop there, as one other item high on the agenda is advancing the online aspect of the brands. Both expanding the website for wholesale aspects as well as adding to the online stores. Surely great things are in store for both of the brands now that Williams in on board, as she stated that, “I think [GoldSign] has tremendous potential.”
I am sure 2010 will bring exciting things for both Citizens of Humanity and GoldSign!
