Style in Women's Tank Tops

Tank tops are a variant of tees and similarly to T-shirts, tank tops are massively popular throughout the world. Generally considered street or casual wear, tank tops are also featured on catwalks in fashion shows and are available from the most famous and popular designers and brands including Hale Bob, Coolwear, Taverniti SO, Hot Kiss, Duarte, Sisly and Seven7.

Tank tops are great for wearing in warmer climes and locales as they are usually made of cotton or cotton blends and are sleeveless so it is easy to keep cool when you are wearing a tank top. But tank tops are not just for use in warm weather, you can also wear them as an extra layer beneath a shirt or a sweater, cardigan or any other top to keep warm.

Like tees, tank tops also feature designs or patterns on the front or back not only to look stylish or colorful but also as an advertising method. It is sometimes hard to distinguish between say a sleeveless shirt, a spaghetti strap top, a halter top and a tank top and this is because tank tops are essentially sleeveless tops or tees and spaghetti strap tops and halter tops go one step further by altering the design of the straps that hold up the top.

Tee shirts for every occasion!

T-shirts are perhaps the most commonly worn article of clothing across the globe and are popularly written colloquially as tee shirts. Suitable for both the modern man and woman when off work or even at work in some cases, the humble tee shirt is considered suitably fashionable and is sold by many of the major fashion houses and brands including Faith Connexion, Seven7, One Life 2 Live, Mighty Fine, Spy C, Doe, Sisly, Yanuk, Hot Kiss, Profile and Angels.


Tee shirts come in a variety of styles and designs with long sleeved tees, 3/4 sleeves or cutoffs, short sleeves and capped sleeves tees commonly available. However, the defining feature of tee shirts is that they are made of cotton or polyester and knitted in a jersey stitch that makes them feel so soft and comfortable to wear.


One of the most popular uses of T-shirts is for advertising. From Nike to New York State and famous bands (Rolling Stones) to revolutionary icons (Che Guevara), the common tee shirt has been used to popularize and provide publicity for anything and everything. Well known tees include the “I ♥ NY” tee shirt designed by the state of New York to increase its tourism and popularity and the tee shirts with a smiley face on the front.
